"I AM WHO I AM"

4000 years ago, more or less God with a nickname YHWH or YHWEH, the closest it can get to today’s Latin alphabet answered his prophet Moses question that wanted to know who he is this way:" I AM WHO I AM".
Sometime it is important to go back to basics which we so conveniently overlook. This is attempt in that direction. I don’t know where to put this one in my numerous blogs. I guess this is better as any. It won’t fit my poem blog “ SpiritOfRumi.blogspot.com “. My hope is if one person will read it and understand it, I am successful. Maybe now, maybe years from now, long after I am gone, somebody will browse the web and find it and say this really make sense.
Over the years numerous people claim that they understand what God is and tried to tell others, that is exactly what they should think too. Sometime that happened with good will and sometime with violence and force.
The fact is we are chasing the shadow of something that flies high above and we never seen or understood it, as Rumi puts it. Even that comparison is not true and it is there just to give you an idea.
All the misconceptions about God come when we ignore the very first response that God gave Moses.
We tend to think of God as human form, even if we don’t admit it, everybody does. "We are created from God’s image, God listens, God sees, God punishes". Actually our actions or the actions of people before us punish us.
We don’t know everything about another person, our loved ones even. We don’t know what is in their heart and when they say something with Good or bad intention, we think the opposite. Those are the people we know, we see, we can touch and do activities together yet we do not fully understand what they are even sometime we spend years of our lives with them. Have you said something to your dad, your Mom, your wife, your husband they never got what you saying? Quiet often, right.
Now when it comes to God, it is totally different. Actually God can not be a subject of our understanding. God can not be a subject period. A subject is something our brain has power over it to solve, God is not. God is unsolvable. So when we claim what he is, how he is etc., we either lie for our own benefit or we deceive either ourselves or others.
Now it comes the complicated part, whoever understood this part, can understand a glimpse of God’s nature but still not knowing him. I say him because English language is so inadequate on giving God a pronoun, in this case a gender which is totally wrong.
Understanding the fact that God is not part of our world, part of existence is the first step in that direction. Can we go further than that one step? I doubt it. Existence is something that God created.
Existence is finite, has a beginning and an end. It has an origin and a lifespan, God doesn’t. We cannot call it a different kind of existence, God is not a kind either. God is part of non existence, a world that doesn’t exist. Non existence is infinite and forever, just like our souls. I believe human can achieve infinite life and be immortal and by disappearing, by turning to nothing, to non existence. And that way they can unite to God, the only way. How you do that? BY making your soul bigger than your body, your essential part not the ignored one and that is the theme of most of my poems. No one can ever understand the soul, not in a million year because science can only discover the existent world is soul is not part of it, just like God is not part of it. “They will ask you about soul, say: Mystery of soul is with God “Those are God’s words too, just like I am who I am. What was said to Mohammad about soul is not much different in meaning than what was said to Moses about who God is. The world of Non existence is off limit for our body and brains to understand, but not off limit for our souls to reach.
Now if you grasped that fact and make it purpose of your life, you are one of the few lucky ones. Religion is not going to take you there, understanding God’s words will.
Good luck!

So different, yet the same!

The more things are different, the more they are the same. Ever heard that expression? It sounds simple, but it is not. Lots of laws of physics, philosophy and mysticism can be explained with that sentence.

Unity of opposits, symetry, consevation of matter and energy, religious teachings, free will and destiny, luck and coincidence, mysery, fortune and poverty. etc etc.

Electricity and magnestism are different forces but they can easyly conert to each other. Space and time always interchange to each other and effect each other. None of the are constant. Day and night, dark and light.

A person we think he is the best , his whole life an we assume he is as good as an angel, suddenly his head comes out of devil shirt. Not like they haven't done anything ood. That good person and that devil are the same person. A priest who molest child. A mullah who has sex with little boys. A hero who enslave people.
Peace and war...., peace always creat condition for hard work and creating wealth, wealth always want more wealth, more money. Wealth builders have to protect their wealth against people who want to steal it for them, and what they want to steal from others to increase it and preserve it, eventualy end up resolving conflicts with war. Everyone has a reson for his action and no one is wrong. THis again shows how can two opposit opinion be right? yet they are , because ifferent are the same, opposits can't exist one without other.

Accuracy Of History.

Lets start from a personal experience. A dream I had... To be continued.....

Black and white

Why black and white is so important?
Because those colors effect our judgement so much over the centuries that we put all our believe system on it. All the wars, prosecutions and executions, religious wars, moral chauvinism etc etc use the scale of black and white, wrong and right, good and bad, evil and angelic.
In all of those we very conveniently and easily forget millions of shades of grey that exist between those two colors.
And no one even think these two can be inter changed, change places. You can only go so much in one direction, after the darkest part of the night, it is morning again.

So is bad and good, acceptable and unacceptable. What is a bad practice and shameful for some culture, it is acceptable even useful practice for another. So lets not just be tolerable, but it is also important not to say they are wrong and we are right. That i s the whole point. That is what Rumi would say or Buddha or Gandhi.

That is why I am not so normal anymore.
Anything that is different from main stream thinking is abnormal, weird, miss guided, crazy etc? right? I don't mind being called any of those. And what I write and you read, than read it with closed eyes, will make so much sense, that is going to untangle your brains, soon you will thin k like me, of course I don't expect you to think exactly like me, just different, for yourself and use your brain power. Than maybe you wouldn't mind being called any of those either.

Human is about adaptation.

Years pass by, centuries, millennia, come and go. Humans it their long journey everyday discover new frontiers. Communities change, so is our understanding from universe and our surrounding and ways of our lives. Now, it is going to be so naive of us that we don't use rocks to build fire. Our axe is not made of stone. We don't use swords and papyrus. Do you think what rules and regulations were written thousands of years ago have the same meaning today.
What God said to those people, can heave different meaning today.
That what he would expect from us. God created human brain as the most complex and capable too at least in our part of universe.
I know for a lot of us, religion is a dogma, either has to be accepted the way it was sent or left alone, be thrown away. But he wanted us to change our understanding of our surrounding as we acquire more and more knowledge of our surroundings and of his universe.
Otherwise he would have left us to be apes, or another species of primates. How can you believe in God and not believe whatever we achieved until today was with his blessing and will?

That is why it is important not to translate scriptures the way it was translated thousand of years ago. What was said for the purpose of making people of those ages understand it, has different meaning today. So you either go back to age of shamans or adopt all the values and good thing in religion in today's societies.

It is not my intention to re translate or explain anything for you including scriptures and religion.
My relation to God is very personal. I think yours should be too. And you are smart enough to figure your paths yourself.

Only thing here in emphasize is reading with your hearts, with your eyes closed. There is a lot more in a scripture than just word by word translation. But scripture is not unique. Nothing else is safe either. History, science etc. Read the invisible part of any writing, any believe.

If you are religious, still nothing wrong in believing in Evolution, If you are Evolutionist, still 0nothing wrong with believing at God. That is all I am going to talk about religion. Because whenever you express your free mind and logical conclusion, those who think they have key to heaven and have deed of trust to God' s real estates call you infidel, non believer, blasphemed etc etc. They want to kill you if they can, than don't stop there, separate your skin, burn your flesh and throw your bones to wolves in this world, even though they are saying worst is waiting for you in next world. Let them believe on what they do, find your own way to God.

So lets talk about morals, history, wrong and wrong, hero and villein , black and white. Before we go to science and scientific discoveries.

Everything, every matter is a collection of two opposite poles. One can not exist without other.
What is black and white? Two colors that can be seen by human eyes and it fits on that chart between Infra red and Ultraviolet. There are more colors beyond those spectrum that can be seen by some animals but not by humans, and definitely there are some that no one can see. The light or color that you open your garage door or turn the TV channel with. So we know they exist and lot more that we don't know they exist but they do.
So prerequisite for existence is not look, touch, feel and measure, right?
So now that you know the fact above. Lets go back to white and black.

Beyond reality

OK, I think it is time to get into subject. I gave some explanations at the beginning to make an easy transition and an easy entry to the idea.
The following few pages you read, I wrote in Farsi. I will try to stay faithful in translation, although it is hard to translate word to word.
Here we go:
Don't trust what you read. Don't believe everything you hear. Not everything you see is the way you see it.
Skepticism is the first step in the long path to reality.
What you read here, take it with a grain of salt and pepper. First, taste it. And read it once. Think about it a little. Now read it again without looking anywhere, with closed eyes. Try to find what is between the lines, the unwritten part. If I try to guide you to a path you never been before, a world that is much bigger and different than the visible world. I want you to treat my writing the same way I want you to treat any other writings, facts, scripts or whatever else.
So your exercise starts from here. Find the white fonts in white background in my writing first. I try to make it easy for you. Show you how. Than apply it to anything else.
So close your eyes, find the hidden meanning, try to read it with your mind and your reason and concious. Soon you will find out why I said close your eyes. Do you need your eyes to read white in white? Of course not. With open eyes,, they all look the same. You will be as lost as ever and will just repeat what you seen in black, or different color than background. What you can not discover when you look at something even if for years you stare, you will begin to untangle with your eyes closed and your mind open.
Your eyes not always honest to you and it is not absolute. Sometime not only doesn't help you achieve the truth but send you to a totaly wrong path.
I give you a few short examples, you can find million more yourself.
Someone would say I seen it with my own eyes that, it is written in Koran if a woman commited adultry, should be stoned to death. So that gives you two alternative: Koran is barbaric, if a God says those words, I don't have anything to do with him. Go ahead, run away from God, be my guest. Second alternative is, since it is written and I seen it with my owns eyes, must be abided. Thats what shall be done. What will that turns you in to? A barbaric, hearthless human being in 21st century. An illeterate person who doesn't have any value for life and fairness and equality.
THats how your eyes could send you to wrong path. For me, eventhough I don't remember the exact words. But still you get the point. So where do I stand. If I read Koran, I will read it again with closed eyes, so I can see what is there in those white lines. I have trained myself enough that I can do that. Not just Koran but everything. So I don't have to be atheist or ignorant or a fundamentalist. Second, what doesn't make sense, I can easily throw it away as skin, an just pick the core or brian or what is relevant to 21st century. Now don'y use that weapon and say see Islam is fake religion and barbaric and Judaism or Buddhism or Christianity are not. I can find you the same kind of examples in each one. Remember women being a sore in heel of foot in Old testament, or Adam and eventualy human being being kicked from heaven because of Eve. So everything that is wrong with human race is her fault?
Ok you got the point on not trusting your eyes. The main thing is what was said 2000, 3000, 5000 years ago was said the way those people would understand. Otherwise if we were to use sharia laws in every generation. It should have been a section for penalty on hit and run.
How many people swear that they saw flying saucers over the sky of Phoenix? They may have seen it but they were not flying saucers or alien ships.
Ever read the story of creation in old testament? I will leave that for yourself to read the white fonts there. For short, that wasn't 6000 years ago and wasn't done from saturday to saturday.
I am not going to get out of the subject. I think I have written extensively about that and plan to write more. I let you sort it out for yourself. I just gave you another example.

Non believer.

Non believer? Should I always have to be that controversial? The fact is, you are never going to be a true believer until you untangle your brain, just like you get rid of weeds in a lawn. This is the basic lesson for a new you. A lot of nonsense entered our religions, our history, even science. Just listen to history channel, you expect to hear and see true non partial facts, what you find will be hidden codes in a scriptures or a cup with magic power.
Don't get me wrong, I am a true believer to God, the creator of universe. But things like 6000 years from creation, seven day which we think seven times 24 hours for creation, etc etc pulls us farther away from God, from the truth and covers our brain with heavy smoke of dysfunction and false faith. The destructive faith, hypnoses and brainwashing. Scriptures were written in a time for people that would only understand the way was sent then. For sure people added their own words as God's word but in main part, they could be authentic. But in every time and age you have to interpret it the way that makes sense then.
I am not biased against or toward any religion. But I am against Mullahs, priests, Ayatollahs, Rabbis, Monks who think they are representative of God or Gods, and tell you that you should know the God only the way they preach. Everything they say is right and everything else is wrong.
They should determine what you wear, where you go in your free time, what to eat and what to do.
If you think I am a Muslim, maybe, for some I may not be, in matter of fact a lot of people will probably say I am not than I am. I don't care. In my heart and soul I am. But mostly it is me and my God. No one between. I quote Rumi again, I have before, but I can never emphasize enough. That is true for every scripture what he says: " We picked the brain and Core from Koran and left the skin and bark to others"
If you can do that, you will always going to be up to that. If everybody was doing that, there wouldn't be that many non believers, communists, fascists etc. And religions would have been much stronger in peoples hearths not as establishments and organizations and we would have been safe from fundamentalism, ayatollahs, popes and priests and Imams and Amirs.
OK so now you know? In order to get to God, you have to be somehow non believer or what other people may call non believers. Haman's relation to his God should be individual. Makes sense , doesn't it? Every child's relation with his/her parent is different. The way they express, they interact , what they want from them and what they give back. Do you let anyone gets between you and your parent? God is even closer to you so why should you let anyone gets between.
You call this believe or non believe, you will be the judge. And now you know why you should be non believer in common sense of the word, the acceptable sense before you can get one and unite with your God.
